Windsor Tennis Club / Advantage Tennis Club

This place is so abysmally managed it deserves 0 stars. Since the start of the 2021 winter season, we've had multiple incidents with double/triple court bookings and never even signed a seasonal contract because management was always "inconveniently missing." Since the facility closed Feb 2022 because of a permit issue with the township, it's been impossible to get answers from the owner Mr. Venkat Kishnamuti. We only ended up using about 1/3 of our allotted time for the season and they are refusing to give us a refund because the company is borderline bankrupt. Don't bother wasting your money with this place, there are plenty of other competent places in the area to play tennis or pickleball.

Needless to say, very disappointed with the club in general (if it still exists) . Decided to try a new location for lessons for my daughter...everything started off well, until winter hit. Apparently the snow this year damage the bubble to the point where an overhaul was needed. Long story short, the company could not afford it, had to SHUT DOWN for 4 months with only less than half the classes fulfilled to the people who paid for lessons. Once they did "open" up, we were told lessons would actually moved to a public location in a nearby community college. Went to the first lesson (originally lessons were supposed to be 3 hours), and due to lack of participation, was told lesson was only going to be 2 hours. The professionalism of the coaches was also highly suspect, one was essentially on the phone the whole time during the lesson. Gave it one more week and was actually told that due to continued lack of participation lessons would actually only be 1.5 hours. At that point I had enough, requested a "refund" for the remaining classes I had. Did not receive refund, going through dispute route. Do not sign up for this!! There are much better clubs nearby with better player

This place is an absolute joke. TL;DR: If you're booking a court, go somewhere else unless you want to drive 20 mins to find ur booking cancelled. If you're taking a lesson, I'd recommend finding some other place as well, since I'm pretty sure the owner only cares about money, not the customers at all. On Tuesday, we called the facility and booked a court for Wednesday night. When we arrived, we were told that there were no courts available because they need to use the courts for lessons. We didn't receive any calls beforehand, and the 6 of us had to drive 20 mins only to find out about this. We talked to the owner, and he was very rude and refused to offer any apology whatsoever. In his own words, "I'd earn 100 dollars for the lessons, why'd I rent you the court for 20 bucks?" He had absolutely no intention to honor the reservation, and he asked us to stop making reservations on weekday nights. Yes, he didn't update the website to block out weekday nights; he didn't train his reception staff to decline weekday night reservations; but instead, he asked *us, the customers*, to refrain from making such bookings. But still, he told us these only verbally - there is no way for a new

These guys are pathetic. Extremely insensitive and least bothered about clients. At least 4 times this season we had advance booking and went there to find court occupied. Then they start giving you all kind of excesses. At least two times during the this season we booked the court and went there to find that they have closed early. No courtesy communication and then haggling afterwords even to return your money. No wonder they are not even half occupied as other courts we go to. One of the owner is JB ( an Asian guy), he is quite rude and inconsiderate.

This is a poorly designed tennis facility that is poorly run. The lighting is terrible and it is cold in the winter. The courts are built in rows, not side by side. It is extremely distracting to see other players through the inadequate netting that separates the courts, especially when serving. The next court's baseline is right behind you and in front of you if you play in the middle court. There are three courts per bubble. The owner is unprofessional in his demeanor and has no telephone etiquette. Players are required to pay in advance and can only receive a credit but NOT a refund should they need to cancel. I've been playing indoor tennis since I was a boy, and this is probably the worst design and management of an indoor facility that I've even seen. Don't waste your time or money here.
